The Krishna Maruti Group, a 365 million dollar conglomerate, was incorporated in 1994 as an ancillary to Maruti Udyog Ltd. For manufacture and supply of Seating systems by its chairman Mr. Ashok Kapur. The group today manufactures Seating Systems, Injection Molded Door Trims, Rear View Mirrors, Head Rest Assemblies, Arm Rest Assemblies, Roof liners and Molded Carpets and a vast diverse range of Injection molded parts catering to Automotive as well as Two wheeler industry. The group is a benchmark in Quality Systems, and its flagship company Krishna Maruti Limited was conferred with the Prestigious Deming Prize in 2005 making it the youngest and the only seating company in the world having achieved this apex of manufacturing excellence. The Foundation of Krishna Group was laid down by Mr. Ashok Kapur in 1994 by setting up its first manufacturing facility in Narsinghpur, Gurugram. Krishna Group has diversified business interests in Auto Component manufacturing, Real Estate, Media and Travel related services. Mr. Ashok Kapur’s son, Mr. Sunandan Kapur was inducted in the Group in FY 2001-02. He worked closely with his father till 2006 supporting him in the growth of KML (Interiors Division). Since 2006, he has been independently managing SKH (Metals Division) and has led SKH to a phenomenal growth since then. The flagship business of Krishna Group, the Auto Component business revenue crossed USD 800 million in Financial year 2019-20 in line with a vision to cross USD 1 Billion sales revenue very soon in the coming years.
