Introduction and Requirements: Our platform is becoming the most preferred E-learning platform for Corporate Education - with the content for each company being provided by the company and users of that company. This platform needs to scale to unprecedented levels in the corporate tech environment. Over 50 large companies in India and overseas are using this platform today and we expect that number to double over the next 2 years. The CV platform is running with over 100,000 active users a month, coming multiple times a day into the app. They are consuming more than 1TB of content on a daily basis; the amount of data being created to track their usage is crossing a million records a month. In order for us to scale further to work on this optimization. Our projected usage is about 1M monthly users in the next 2 years. Key Responsibilities: ● Taking Over Current Product Architecture for Optimization and Scaling ● Building an AI/ML roadmap and implementing it with the development team ● Integrating our Product with Various IT Applications ● Enhancing IT Security and Data protection for successfully clearing VAPT with various Enterprise Architectures and requirements ● Overseeing Dev ops for Optimal performance Demonstrated prior experience : ● The right track record of handling large scalable systems ● An ability to be hands on with SQL queries and experience in optimization ● Experience with MYSQL and MongoDB as well as Data warehousing systems ● Reviewing architecture and planning an archival of older records every 3 months, without hampering customer reporting requirements ● Diagnosing data recording and reporting accuracy ● Working with the right developers to create these dashboards and improve performance ● Experience of creating dashboards and preparing a flexible, scalable and fast reporting architecture for real time completion reports to end users ● Most importantly a demonstrated track record of delivering this. ● A very solid understanding of messaging and queuing systems - to enable them to scale and send messages at scale - and being able to review the current code, and plan an architecture and dev ops plan to sustain it ● AI and ML experience for creating recommendation and personalization algorithms for content e.g. “Based on your level of performance on this certification, we recommend the following courses for you to take it to the next level of your performance” Managerial Experience ● Complete ownership of Service/Services that your team is responsible for. ● Lead by example, mentor and guide team members on everything from structured problem solving to development of best practices. ● Platformize components as libraries, utilities and services and promote reuse. ● Own large technical deliverables and execute in an exemplary way. ● Be able to conceptualize and develop prototype quickly. ● Drive technical roadmap of the team in collaboration with Engineering and Product. ● Build a culture of “get development done right first time” with timely managerial reviews before product is released for testing Requirements:  Deep expertise in at least one programming language & tech stack.  Substantial experience in building complex and scalable solutions.  Strong object oriented design skills, ability to apply design patterns, and an uncanny ability to design intuitive module and class-level interfaces  The ability to do deep problem solving and build elegant, maintainable solutions to complex problems.  Experience leading multi-engineer projects and mentoring junior engineers.  Experience with full life cycle development in any programming language on a Linux platform.  Comprehensive operational experience including, optimizations, deployments and tuning servers like NGINX/MySql/Express/Tomcat/Elasticsearch/MongoDB.  Prior experience in working with Agile software methodologies (XP, Scrum), TDD and Continuous Integration (CI/CD) a plus.  Experience in building data-driven web application design and development is a core requirement  Expert level experience in building scalable, large and complex business application using some of above technologies and mentoring junior engineers.  Deep expertise with any or combination programming languages: Java, Javascript, Python, any objected oriented high-level proprietary or open source language with strong programming constructs.
