Department: Operations Reports To: Systems Manager Employment Status: Full Time Exempt Position Summary: The Systems Administrator will help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our customers; infrastructure. The Systems Administrator is responsible for delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security. He should be a go getter and take the lead in all technical phases to support the team. Essential Functions:  Monitor all installed systems and infrastructure  Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools  Ability to work on own initiative and as a team player  Ability to identify problems and work to resolution as required  Flexibility to work out of hours and on escalations  Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability  Provide support on escalated P1/P2 incidents  Track and work on Problem cases under Problem Management  Validation of complex changes  Sanity test for new customers design before sign off for Operations  Technical communities’ meetings with Operations team  Validate and Build for expansion of any existing customers  Identify the propose of technical solutions to Operation teams  Meeting with Operation team to identify the area of concerns in technical domains  Produce technical documents for new & existing technologies  Deliver technical session to Operation teams on new or existing technologies  Should have experience on Design of new projects  Candidate should be able to work independently  Decision Making  Liaise with L3 team /Vendor for problem resolution  Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution Required Qualifications (This should include any minimum education, work experience, knowledge, & skills necessary to perform the functions of the position):  Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field OR 2+ years of professional work experience  2+ years of working experience in Office365, Mailbox migrations, Microsoft Teams.  3-6 years of experience in Systems Administration  3-6 years of experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows  Certification in Micrsoft Certified System Enginner (MCSE)/ VMware Certified Professional (VCP)/ Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) / Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), will be a plus Other Qualifications:  Experience on Office365, Mailbox migrations; troubleshooting, Teams, SharePoint.  Experience on Microsoft Azure, Windows administration & Implementation.  Broad Experience with virtualization and containerization - VMWare / OVM / Hyper-V.  Experience in backups tools – NetBackup / CommVault / Backup Exec / DPM / Veeam or any other backup tool.  Experience in any monitoring tool i.e. SolarWinds Orion / HP-OVO etc.  Experience with monitoring systems.  Experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks.  Experience with any ticketing tool for change management & incident management. Autotask / BMC remedy or any other.  Excellent Documentation Skills.  Experience in OS patch management.  Excellent troubleshooting skills.  Basic networking knowledge.  Major Pluses – Scripting/Programming, SQL, CNC JDE, experience in other Cloud technologoies AWS / Google Cloud
