Responsibilities • Collaborate with a team of developers and designers to create a web application run on multiple platforms such as android or iOS. • Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code, while creating reusable, effective, and scalable JavaScript code. • Test and update web application so that it can be used on all web browsers. • Design the data and presentation layer of the web application’s front-end. • Use additional JavaScript libraries such as Redux to manage the web application’s state, derive computed data from the state of the system, and make asynchronous API calls. • Translate the client’s technical requirements into code. • Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms. • Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native. Requirements An understanding of React Native best practices and a commitment to following them. • Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of React Native applications. • Experience working with Swift, Objective C, and Java a plus but not required. • Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax • Good experience in JavaScript, modern JavaScript, HTML programming languages • Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code • Highly proficient in one or more libraries (e.g. Redux, React Router, etc) for state managing and routing in addition to React. • Proficient in using Git as a control system • Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts • Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle • Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage • Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems. • A positive mindset and can-do attitude. • Attention to details.
