We are looking for a talented and motivated Node.js developer with 1–3 years of experience to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side components using Node.js. They will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and project managers to ensure our projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain server-side components using Node.js, Express.js, and other relevant technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices. Design and implement API endpoints, and integrate them with front-end applications. Optimise applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues. Provide technical support and assistance to colleagues when needed. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in Node.js development. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 1-3 years of experience in Node.js development Strong knowledge of JavaScript and ES6+ syntax Proficiency in using Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, Experience with database systems such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced startup environment Preferred Skills: Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban Experience with unit testing and test-driven development
