The Basic duties of a AWS & Java systems programmer involve understanding the applications from support perspective, handling incidents, troubleshooting the issues/Abends, coding new changes as per specifications and automating mundane support tasks. Candidate also need to support AWS Infra issues and writing terraforms. Shift Details. Associates are required to work in rotational shifts. Below are the shift timings. • A shift – 7 AM to 4 PM • B shift – 3 PM to 12 AM • C shift – 11 PM to 8 AM Primary Skill/s: • Expertise on at least one framework out of Hibernate, Struts, Spring etc, preferred to have multiple framework hands-on experience. • JSP, HTML, Java, Java Applets, Web Programming Skills, Web User Interface Design, Web Services Knowledge (SOAP/RESTful), Software Debugging. • Good hands on knowledge of UNIX / Linux basic commands and should be able to understand / exposure to shell scripting/programming. • Application server hands on experience on any of Websphere, Weblogic or JBOSS. • Hands on experience on any database SQL, ability to write and modify complex queries. • Expertise in either Oracle/MYSQL/Informix/DB2 • Any Job scheduling tool knowledge preferred to have Control-M knowledge. • Hands on debugging job failures. • Good analytical & communication skills. • Knowledge on Cloud computing and AWS services like S3, Lambda, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, ELB, Terraform • Experience in Automation, especially operational automation, its tools/technologies. • Knowledge of DevOps. • Prefer to have knowledge of CI/CD process and Jenkins Secondary Skill/s: • Knowledge on SysAid tool and ITIL certification is preferable. • SVN or Any versioning tool hands-on experience. • Good to have Retail domain Knowledge • Production support experience, ready to work in 24x7 rotational shifts.
