Job Description As a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead – Full Stack Java , you will be part of agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards. Your key responsibilities include: Working within a globally diverse team across different time zones. Working closely with technology and business teams within an Agile/Scrum model Understanding Sprint requirements and participating in sprint planning. Driving assigned tasks based on the direction given by your project lead. Ensuring complete adherence to defined architecture and design. Making sure that the written code follows all the coding and security standards. Performing unit testing to achieve 80% of code coverage. Preparing or modifying low-level design document, impact analysis document based on requirement changes. Following all SCRUM rituals and delivering against all planned activities. Participating in / leading design whiteboarding and creation of solution architecture. Performing code reviews for junior developers and ensuring coding standards have been followed. Actively participating in customer calls and effectively communicating technical expectations to junior developers Co-ordinating with business analysts to make sure that sprint backlogs are updated Education Engineering Degree - BE, BTech, BCS Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable. Mandatory Skills Java Application Development Knowledge of Java data types and database applications with JDBC Java collection API and generics Knowledge of OOPS and SOLID principles Unit testing with JUnit and Mockito Experience on Hibernate, Hibernate API, Hibernate Query language Understanding of design patterns Database Understanding of relational (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) or NoSQL (Mongo, PostgreSQL) Java Web Applications Strong expertise around Servlet and JSP, along with basic knowledge of JSF Spring MVC and Web layer with Spring REST API, Spring Data JPA Java Microservices REST Template Netflix Eureka Server or Consul Awareness of concepts like circuit breaker Awareness of API gateway like MuleSoft, Spring Cloud API Gateway Web Designing REST Template Netflix Eureka Server or Consul Awareness of concepts like circuit breaker Awareness of API gateway like MuleSoft, Spring Cloud API Gateway Client-side framework Experience with React or Angular 2+ development with understanding of state management. Angular - Components, Data binding, Modules and Services Client-side unit testing framework like Jasmine, Karma RxJS, Routing, Material component Security Spring Security + OAuth2, REST Authentication and Authorization DevOps CI/CD using Jenkins and GitHub or similar Desired Skills Solving performance issues or memory management Cache management, Authentication API, logging implementation Microservice Deployment using OpenShift, Kubernetes + Docker. Serverless deployments using AWS Lambda, Azure Functions UI - Angular material and theming or familiarization with other Third-Party UI Control libraries UI - Micro-frontend development Cloud / DevOps - Developing and hosting Cloud-based solutions using Amazon/AWS. Prior experience of working with healthcare applications will be an added advantage.
