1. Ruby syntax 2. Object Oriented Programming 3. MVC Framework,ERB/Haml, 4. Knowledge of Ruby library (ActiveRecord) 5. REST API- JSON(Knowledge of SOAP) 6. front-end development skills (JS/HTML/CSS) 7. Database skills (ActiveRecord lib will handle db code but should have knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL/MYSQL) 8. Testing and validation skills (RSpec testing tool is used widely for ROR)
